The Government of India extends several scholarships every year to foreign students who want to study in India. However, these scholarships are not extended directly to interested students. Extend of scholarships are sent to the respective Governments by Indian diplomatic missions abroad and interested students can contact their governments to get themselves nominated. Nominations from the foreign Governments are received by the concerned Indian embassy or high commission.
