The LIC Entrance Exam comprises of two stages.
Stage I: Written Examination
The written test set in English and Hindi comprises of
Test of Reasoning
Numerical Ability
General English/Hindi
General Knowledge.
Stage II: Interview
The candidates who successfully pass the written examination would be called for the Interview to finalize the selection procedure.
The question paper in written test will be based on numerical ability, test of reasoning, general knowledge and general English or Hindi.
You can refer to books for entrance exams like Banking Tests, CAT etc. Some of them include books by Oswal, Ajay Singh, and R.S. Agarwal.
Your Selection is based on Written Test and Personal Interview.
Key Dates (Tentative) for LIC Development Officer 2011: the Date of Written Exam: 2nd week of June, 2011
You should have completed the age of 21 years on the 1st July of the year of examination.
You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Agriculture/Law from an Indian or Foreign University, or possess an equivalent qualification.
You can get more details in the Employment News, generally in the second week of April, and the last date for submission of application is usually the second week of May every year.
