Deemed University status was granted to Dr. D. Y. Patil University vide Notification No. F. 9-39/2001-U.3 dated 11/01/2003 by department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi, and vide Notification No. 6-9/2002 (CPP-I) dated 24/01/2003 by University Grants Commission, New Delhi.

(A) From the University office on payment of Rs. 500/- (for super-specialty programmes Rs. 1,000/-) by cash or D.D. OR
(B) Through a requisition letter with name of course, opted for, detailed correspondence address with contact no. and e-mail address, along with a demand draft of Rs. 600/- (for super-specialty programmes Rs. 1,100/-) drawn on any nationalized bank, in favour of “Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth”, payable at Pune OR
(C) By downloading from the University Website. (The downloaded form shall be submitted along with a demand draft covering Form Fee + Test Fee + Postage Rs. 100/-).
For admission to any programme candidates have to apply in the prescribed form attached with this brochure. On verification of the candidate’s eligibility for admission, the candidate will be informed about the selection. Candidates will be asked to complete the eligibility requirement by submitting the documents in original copies for verification.
