Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDS University) is located in Ajmer. It was formed on 1st August 1987 as the University of Ajmer. The name of the University was changed in the year 1992. The university is offered Bachelor of Education program. The University conducts the exams in colleges in Rajasthan. There are twenty-four teaching departments in the University.
